It works! When I first started, the first workout was rough. I always knew when my back was starting to act up that I needed to get the yoga mat out and pop the DVD's in, and I would do just that for a few weeks, but then fall off the wagon again. I'll admit, I haven't exactly been the most active user of DDP Yoga up until recently, school + work + new baby made it hard to always find time and easier to pass up DDPY for a nap. I was also looking at the possibility of surgery, but I knew it was best to avoid it if possible. Yes! DDP Yoga IS a viable option! I picked it up in April 2014, 10 years after my initial back injury, and it was my last chance. To get away from my story and back to your question. Oh and by the way, I was also a professional wrestler! Had been wrestling for more than a couple of years and each slam was easy to sell, because it hurt like a mother. By the time I was 22, getting out of bed in the morning was a long and painful process. This all stemmed from a back injury I had in high school that was ignored by doctors for 6+ years. I have herniated discs at L4 and L5, and have had numerous injections to help ease the pain, but after about 9 months it would come back and seemingly get worse. I have the same injury, and have been through much of the same myself.
